JEFFERSONVILLE, IN – Trey Hollingsworth, a conservative business owner from Jeffersonville, has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for Congress in Indiana’s 9th district. Tired of career politicians who have driven our country deep into debt, Trey has decided to get off the sidelines and run for office to bring a fresh perspective to Congress.
“The monumental problems facing this country have spread because of a detached political class,” said Hollingsworth. “I believe it is time for the American people, not politicians, to begin putting forth solutions, which is why I am running for Congress.”
Hollingsworth continued, “We must repeal Obamacare, stop illegal immigration, and pass term limits to make sure public service becomes service again, instead of a career. I look forward to introducing myself to the voters and to discussing how together we can scrub Washington.”
Trey lives in Jeffersonville with his wife, Kelly. He owns Hollingsworth Capital Partners, a company that improves industrial sites for job creators and invests in American manufacturing in Indiana and across the Midwest.
A formal announcement will come in January as Trey travels the district and listens to voters. More information on the campaign can be found at www.VoteForTrey.com.
